We are relaxing in Aimeeās hometown of Itasca, IL. It is a quaint village with a pretty central park and gazebo. This afternoon we took a walk across the park to the edge of town where they have a nature center called Springbrook. The facility is small but contains probably a dozen birds that they rescued and are now caring for. In particular they have a couple hawks and falcons. Unfortunately they are behind some particularly narrow meshed screened cages that make them difficult to see well.
