Life can change very quickly and when you least expect it. Instead of another overseas adventure, last Fall Aimee splurged on a night in luxury accommodations at the local hospital. A private room with a nice mountain view and a host of attendants! For a long while I thought our traveling days were finally over.

I spent the long recovery puttering around the house fixing odds and ends, organizing the garage, and improving my golf game. Fortunately for me, Aimee is back up to speed and asking where we are going next. To celebrate Aimee‘s rebirth we planted a tree in the yard in honor of Earth Day. I hope it grows faster than the many Saguaros we have planted.

Aimee amped up her exercise routine to rebuild her strength. She proved it by scaling the top of Picacho Peak a few weeks ago with my visiting sister. Let Our Big Adventure continue!
